This Thursday is the AMOA Laguna Gloria showing of 8 1/2. As per the official site:
A ticket to this event includes the screening of this extraordinary masterpiece in the outdoor Laguna Gloria amphitheater preceded by an entertaining and enlightening discourse on the subject of memory from an esteemed panel of entertainers and enlighteners, a glass of fine Italian wine and an Italian sampler plate prepared by Alamo executive chef John Bullington!
Here's a taste of cuisine you can expect:
Trout and Fennel Marinated in Blood Orange
Ricotta and Spinach Gnocchi
Portobello-porcini Bruschetta
If Thursday's showing of 8 1/2 isn't up your alley swing by the 2nd Street District for free Bacardi Mojitos and more (including yet another Catherine Nicole trunk show) at Beyond Tradition from 6-9 pm.
Also swing by Kirk gallery for a great preview until 8 p.m. that promises some other tantalizing features I'm sure, just speaking from previous experiences here though...
Or forget both! Just go to Art Garage for some great, local art and free Lone Star!
