Tonight from 6-8:30 enjoy some special treatment (I'm talking mini-manicures and mimosas) on 2nd Street!

Friday from 6-9 head to Tickle downtown for their 1 Year Anniversary! Expect free drinks, finger foods, and a lot of pampering.

Sunday the 3rd is The Zilker Park Kite Festival!
...and it looks like there's a salsa tasting at Wheatsville.

The SXSW round-up: CoolInAustin (free), Gabriel Does, and RSVPster (small fee for an incredible service) will keep you nice and toasted in the weeks to come :).

From 6-8 you can attend the Mamma Jamma party at GSDM (these are great people, and they work for a great cause).

Tuesday the 1st - tell a story, get free beer at Rio Rita (8-11)!

Free beer and food at Beauty Bar at 7 on March 2nd. Also (from 6-9) try not to miss this boutique opening... I have a feeling it's going to be good.

On March 4th (from 6-9) enjoy free drinks and catering by Portabla at Russel.

March 5th is the free day of yoga! Wally is having a fabulous reception at 6! From 12-5 (more specifically, at 1) attend a free hula hooping class on the Whole Foods roof. I went last year, and it was seriously fun.

Sunday the 6th was made for kites. I love the Zilker Kite Festival! From 9-2 it's the Local Maker's Fair at Whole Foods downtown! That means samples (including Kohana Coffee, which is a personal favorite).

Thursday, March 19, visit the Music Trade Show on the 4th floor of the convention center for some free food and drink. Based on the popular pub crawls, we decided to make one of our own–bringing the party into the trade show. Our participating exhibitors will be offering everything from beer to ice cream and cookies! Also, stop by the Trade Show bar for a complimentary happy hour during this time. Visit the following stands between 4-6pm on Thursday for the festivities.

Kick-off party for inaugural Texas Mamma Jamma Ride Date: May. 14, 2009 Start Time: 6:00 PM

Details: Come eat, drink and learn more about how you can help us leave breast cancer in the dust. It's your chance to make a real difference for thousands of central Texans. The Texas Mamma Jamma Ride will be the first-ever Austin bike ride for breast cancer, and it is kicking off next Thursday, May 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Potential riders, volunteers and supporters are invited to come out to GSD&M Idea City to learn more about the event. The inaugural Ride on October 10 will raise money for 10 Central Texas breast cancer organizations. Visit www.mammajammaride.org for more details and to RSVP for the party.

So I got bored?

I felt like perhaps I knew a bit too much about the fun happenings in Austin so now I'm tired of texting close friends, and will gladly share!

Tonight! SAGRA - All you can eat Mussels, flown in fresh this morning for $12. You can check http://twitter.com/SagraAustin for further reference. Another funny happening on this fine Tuesday: Tribeza giving out some free appetizers and cocktails in the reception room of the sexy, new W building from 5:30-7:30.

Friday, after work, head over to Caste Hill Fitness, they will be doing free wine and snacks for a fabulous trunk show in the next door space, something called "Ladies of the Castle." It's in my hood, so I'll be down. That's all I've got for now, bon chance!
