Thursday, October 15h... this is not a freebie people, but I would kill to be at La Dolce Vita hosted by the AMOA Laguna Gloria. Fellini-inspired, gorgeous location, Scotch room, 50 of Austin's most prestigous chefs and restaurants and liquor companies and yeah, I'm now accepting donations to afford my ticket to this. From 7-10 you can go to Malverde for some complimentary drinks and more for the Platinum Realty party. There's also free vodka at The Phoenix.
Friday, the 16th at 6:30 go to Parts and Labour for the Beard Folks Art Show and enjoy magical sponsors like the delicious Treaty Oaks Rum, Sugar Mama's, and even some Team Fabrication action. And from 8-11 Mana Culture Boutique ( 2214 S. 1st ) is celebrating their grand opening with exotic cocktails and catering from the Hosteria Verde Supper Club. DJ's, waitresses, and even Bollywood dancers... but this one will cost you $5.
Saturday the 17th at Circle S Vineyards enjoy free Tempranillo (wine) from 4-8. Or before that (2 p.m. to be exact) you can stop by the grand opening of Austin Healthy Cooking to snag some samples of breads, pastas, wines, brats, chocolates and more (at least it looks like the wine is part of it).
