It's Wednesday (the 27th) and that means at 6:30 you get to try 4 different wine and/or beer and cheese pairings in the wine kiosk while getting schooled in why they match. Of course, it's free.

Thursday the 28th do not miss the Ultra8201 party at The Ghost Room. Or okay, fine, miss a little bit of it... From 6-8 enjoy complimentary cocktails at Touch of Sass. Wine and snacks at an opening party for Goods East? 6-9? I'm there. From 6-8 go to Malaga for a "green" professionals networking event complete with h'ors douevres and a cash bar. From 4-7 you can try Belvedere Vodka's new "Intense" at Twin Liquors. Free beer.

Friday the 29th from 6-8 go to Women and Their Work for a sale and reception... There's some similar goings-on's at ART around the same time. ACL (Austin City Living that is) is sponsoring a huge party at the Monte Vista condo's from 7-10:30. RSVP to rsvp at Austin City Living (dot com) is required. Free appetizers and a cash bar at the My Style 5 party at Lanai.

January 30th do not miss the Rock 'N Swap at Beauty Bar. Bring some items to swap or a $5 donation and enjoy swapping music, clothes, whatever... with sponsors like The Cupcake Bar and Treaty Oak Rum. This is also Whole Foods annual chilli cookoff from 12-3 which you won't want to miss. Last year one of the staff used chocolate and MAGIC in hers. It was the best. Free delicious booze... Party. The 31st is the annual free day of dance of around town.

Monday the 1st have some free wine from 5:30-7.

Tuesday the 2nd from 6-8 go to Lanai for some free Milk+Honey massages while you sip discounted margaritas.

Wednesday the 3rd from 5:30-9 hit Aloft for a free wine tasting with dj's and drink specials.
